Part of one of Diamond Head Development projects in Squamish, is a high-end residential projects called Skyridge, a multi-use family community that will include an elementary school and daycare nestled amongst lustrous forest trails, a park with scenic views. A prerequisite to constructing a community of that size is construction of a pump station to serve the community.
As such, WSP was retained to design a sophisticated and complicated pump station in development area, at the edge of a cliff over the adjacent valley.
Integral Engineering provided the structural design and construction services for this building which consisted of wooden roof on reinforced concrete walls on heavy reinforced concrete foundation anchored to the rock below, and tall retaining walls.
