Number 1 Road Pump Station Upgrade

The projects consists of engineering design and construction services for upgrading the existing dyke and pump station at the south bank of the Fraser River at the north end of No.1 Road by OPUS DaytonKnight. All design and construction work is undertaken to meet the federal, and provincial dyke design and environmental standards. The work includes architectural renovation of the pump station, replacing existing pumps, installation of standby generators and motor control centre, upgrading the dyke with sheet piles and earth filling, and relining discharge pipes.

The facility consists of water retaining concrete structure, soil retaining walls, 15 m x 6 m reinforced concrete building on pile foundation, heavy equipment foundations.

Integral Engineering was responsible for structural design and providing structural construction services for the project.
