District of Sicamous, Mara Lake Water Treatment Plant Upgrade

Design of a new 8 ML/day, membrane filtration plant for surface water supply from Mara Lake was completed by WSP. The project involved multiple public open house and council presentations and tendering for equipment pre-selection. The structural Work consisted of a 15 m x 33 m Building with a two-level steel roof on tilt up precast concrete walls on conventional footings, as well underground concrete tanks under part of the building. Integral Engineering provided the structural design and structural construction services for this project.
