Capilano Main No. 5 – Stanley Park Water Supply Tunnel

Picture of Capilano Main No. 5 – Stanley Park Water Supply Tunnel

Located in downtown Vancouver, the Capilano Main Number (No.) 5 – Stanley Park Water Supply Tunnel (Project) consists of a 1,495-metre (m)-long, 2591 mm internal diameter (ID) water main. The Project also consists of the construction of a new valve chamber and three new flowmeter chambers at Chilco Street (near the existing disinfection station) and a new valve chamber at the Burrard Inlet area (near the existing First Narrows South Shaft and valve chambers).
