City of Burnaby Beta Pump Station Replacement

The scope of this project included replacement of Beta Pump Station including construction of a new building to house a generator, Motor Control Centre (MCC), odor control equipment and washroom, an adjacent sewage pumping system including concrete influent chamber, wet well, and valve chamber, all mechanical and electrical systems for the building and pumping system, landscaping, rain garden, piping, and site works at the south end of Beta Avenue. The project consisted of a water-retaining concrete structure/wet well, an elegantly architecturally designed steel/timber/concrete building on mat foundation on piles with the complicated roof structure and heavy equipment foundations. Integral Engineering was responsible for design and providing construction services for all the structural work.
